As an attorney,
Michael wears many hats. He is an experienced problem-solver, an aggressive
litigator, and a creative business advisor. All of these roles are
dependent on his use of the tool at the root of successfully resolving
most problems between people and businesses excellent communication
skills. Michael focuses his efforts in the areas of real estate, computer,
business and intellectual property law.
Michael represents buyers and sellers of real estate in the resolution
of disputes and, if necessary, litigation related to cases of undisclosed
and/or concealed defects, misrepresentation matters, boundary disputes,
easement issues, and specific enforcement of real estate agreements.
Michael also counsels buyers, sellers, and owners of commercial real
estate on purchase and sale agreements, leases, condominium conversions,
and boundary-line issues.
Michael represents businesses and individuals in copyright, trademark,
licensing, and other technology-related disputes. He also counsels
businesses and individuals regarding their copyright, trademark, technology,
trade secret and other intellectual property issues. Michael
has focused this part of his practice in the computer sector and arts
arena. His work in this area includes the drafting and negotiations
of software licensing, distribution, development agreements, and consulting
contracts, as well as litigation of disputes surrounding these matters. |
